Dr. Overton specializes in pensions for businesses, retirement planning for individuals and families, and loves to work with the owners of closely held businesses. She has more than 35 years experience in financial services. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and, in addition, has earned numerous other designations in financial consulting, long-term care and retirement planning. She was President of the International Association for Financial Planning – New York Chapter and is past Chairman of the Financial Planning Association of New York. She was a member of the Council on Education of the CFP Board of Standards, which sets the educational standards for all Certified Financial Planners in United States. Dr. Overton earned a MS in Economics and a BS in Mathematics from Wright State University and a Ph.D. in Business in Capella University.
